WALKABLE LEDERACH FEASIBILITY STUDY REPORT

Lower Salford Township is pleased to share the Draft Report for the Walkable Lederach Feasibility Study. This study evaluated ways to make the Village of Lederach more walkable, connect the village to other areas of the township, accommodate traffic, and retain the historic character. The study identifies potential improvements and connections in the Village Core (Chapter 4), Village Gateways (Chapter 5), and Village Edge (Chapter 6). The action items presented in Chapter 7 highlight potential near-, mid-, and long-term capital improvement projects, along with plans, policies, and partnerships to achieve the vision and goals.

The Draft Report is the culmination of a yearlong planning process. The study was developed through various community engagement efforts, including steering committee meetings, stakeholder meetings, two public workshops, and posting draft materials on the township website for review. This comment period represents another opportunity for residents to offer their feedback and input. Thank you in advance for taking the time to review the study and provide your insights.
