Road Paving
Over the next several weeks, crews will be working throughout the Township to improve several roadways. This year's Road Improvement Program uses three different resurfacing methods depending on the condition of each road: Cape Sealing, NovaChip, and traditional hot-mix paving.
Roads (all or in part) that will receive Cape Seal surface treatment:
• Fairway Drive
• Fox Den Lane
• Orchard Lane
• Bellingham Lane
• Covenant Lane
• Carrie Lane
• Arrowhead Lane
• Marian Court
• Moyer Road (Main St to Oak Dr)
Work is scheduled to begin the week of June 29th, weather permitting, with the chip seal.
Roads (all or in part) that will receive NovaChip:
• Oak Ridge Lane
• Cricket Lane
• Ruth Road (Clemens Road to Yoder Road)
There is currently no schedule available for these roads.
Roads (all or in part) that will recieve Traditional Hot Mix Paving:
• Groffs Mill Road/Indian Creek Road, from Harleysville Pike (Rt 113) to Freeman School Road
Residents may experience temporary traffic delays while work is underway. A full schedule of roads included in this year's program, along with information about the resurfacing methods being used, is available on our website at lowersalfordtownship.org.
