FREEMAN SCHOOL ROAD CLOSURE DEC. 3 & 4, 2024
For everyone's winter driving safety, the Township Public Works Crew will be closing Freeman School Road between Salfordville Road and Salford Station Road on Tuesday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 4th between the hours of 9 am & 3 pm to correct a potential icing situation. The work will be concentrated on Freeman School Road at its intersection with Salfordville Road. Westbound traffic will be detoured onto Salfordville Rd to Schwenksville Rd to Salford Station Rd and the opposite detour will be used for eastbound traffic.
As always, emergency vehicles and school buses will be accommodated during the closure.

Getting Ready For Winter 2024/2025!
As the days grow cooler and the nights grow longer, there's no getting around the possibility for snow and ice. The Township Public Works Crew is busy patching roadways, cleaning storm drain grates and getting their equipment ready for another winter. Please be on alert as you travel the Township for Public Works crews as they prepare for the season ahead!
ROBERTS ROAD BRIDGE CLOSED: JUNE 17, 2021:
Due to structural failures caused by major storms over recent years, this bridge was permanently closed by the County on June 17, 2021. Emergency and Transportation services have been notified and a detour is in place. Bergey's Mill Road Bridge:
The Township has learned that the bridge replacement has been awarded to Haines & Kibblehouse of Skippack, PA. As of August 2024, site work has begun.
