At 610 Quarry Road in the Township, there is an EPA monitored Superfund Site. This site has been monitored for decades and this coming September, clean-up will begin. To maintain resident safety and to expedite the process, Quarry Road will be closed to through traffic for close to a year. Yes, that seems like a long time, but the work that is being done is for the future safety of everyone. At the open house on September 16th at the Township Building, residents were on hand to learn more about the process as well as to ask questions.
